SMS Notifications

TraqField sends automated SMS notifications to help field service contractors communicate with their customers. Here is how our SMS program works.

What messages do we send?

TraqField sends the following types of SMS notifications on behalf of field service contractors to their customers:

✓Appointment reminders — Notifications about upcoming scheduled service appointments
✓Technician on-the-way alerts — Real-time notification when a technician is en route with estimated arrival time
✓Job completion notifications — Confirmation when a service job has been completed
✓Invoice and payment notifications — Links to view invoices and make payments online
✓Service follow-ups — Post-service check-ins and review requests
✓Account notifications — Estimate approvals, booking confirmations, and customer care messages

How do customers opt in?

Customers opt in to receive SMS notifications in one of the following ways:

1. Online booking

When a customer books a service appointment through their contractor's TraqField-powered booking page, they provide their phone number and check a consent box.

By providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS service notifications from TraqField (appointment reminders, technician updates, invoice notifications). Message frequency may vary. Standard Message and Data Rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. 2. Contractor creates a job

When a contractor creates a service job for a customer in TraqField, the customer's phone number from their profile is used to send service-related notifications. The customer has previously provided their phone number and agreed to receive notifications.

3. Customer portal sign-up

Customers who create a portal account provide their phone number during registration and consent to receive SMS notifications about their service appointments.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your service activity. Typically, customers receive 2-5 messages per service appointment (confirmation, technician en-route, completion, and invoice). You will not receive marketing messages.

How to opt out

You can opt out of SMS notifications at any time:

STOPReply STOP to any message to immediately unsubscribe from all notifications
CANCELReply CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, or QUIT to unsubscribe

After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS notifications. You can re-subscribe at any time by replying START or YES.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. TraqField does not charge for receiving SMS notifications. Standard messaging rates from your carrier apply.
